You know, Senri wasn't tangled up that much to begin with, having his introduction into the world of Luceti more like a harmless little prank more then anything else. But somewhere between the flailing around trying to get free and not even knowing what he was entangled in to begin with well... that caused him to become even more stuck.

How he managed to get his leg tied up, his arms tied, up, and now hanging upside down in an inexplicably bizarre position was a pure mystery. Now all he could really do was helplessly stare at the snowflakes landing on his things laying on the ground as the swing oh so gently swung him back and forth after his struggle.

((OOC: if you are worried about timelines breaking if everyone rushes to save him then no need to fear! If you want to tag him after he's saved by some valiant hero he has the tendency to wander around every time something he's interested in catches his eye. So it would be easy to catch him in the forest, flower shop, the bakery, or even just wandering around the town like the hopelessly lost kid that he is. Also feel free to tag this in prose or action spam, since this was only written in prose because I thought it would be boring to have the entire thing in brackets.))

[James can't help but smile at the kids happy reaction to finding his book.

Of course he is a nosy person, so he can't help but look over Senri's shoulder to see what's in the book. The text in confusing and unreadable, but the pressed flowers were interesting.]

[He does remember it... for now, but repetition is always a nice thing for Senri. Especially now that he was done with the critical mission of getting his book back and he has more time to well... drift off.

Because rather then be terrified at the fact that he was no in a place that he doesn't know, without his friends, and with funny wings on his back, he just... shuts himself off mentally and emotionally.

Which is why he doesn't really respond much to that. ]

[That would normally be a mumble, but since Senri doesn't react to much, James voice isn't quite at mumble level.]

You need anything else?

[Good question. At least it starts him thinking again about what else he could be missing. He'll look around the room and... notice his little pouch hanging on a rack. He's going to check and see if he has any candy in there. :Dc ]

[James just watches Senri, both parts amused and exasperated by the kid.]

[~~Magical time skipping thing later~~, After James has chivvied Senri into the house and away from whatever fascinating thing he saw while walking again he sets about preparing…something edible. And simple. James won’t mess up something simple. It might taste…funny, but it’ll be edible.]

Ehhhh. Soup good?

[At least James can make normal-ish tasting soup.]

[It's okay, he can make whatever soup he makes taste a million times better with the spices in his bag anyways. Because he surprisingly awesome at cooking. but for now he'll nog before looking around the room a little. Kitchens were really this modern in his home world. ]

Alright then, soup it is.

[And James gathers the needed ingredients, plus a few weird ones. Fish soup, because James won't mess that up. ...Much.]

Sit down, or look around, but Don't leave the kitchen.

[He's definitely going to take the "look around" option. Opening up cabinets and looking at the strange little colored cardboard boxes with words written all over them, along with every other kitchen object that had yet to be re-invented in his word. Absorbing all of it with a sense of wonder, even though he is more then likely to forget about all of these things unless he used them daily.]

[James ignores the wandering of Senri, focusing mainly on the food.

It's not like the kid is hurting anything.

Soon enough food is done.

James gets bowls and dishes up the soup, before getting Senri's attention again.]

Here you go. And it's hot, so be careful.

[And he will take his break from adventuring to eat. It smelled really good at least. Then again pretty much anything edible smells pretty good to him.]

[and upon tasting it he thought it wasn't bad, but it was definitely missing something. So he will take that little pouch back out that he had looked for candy in earlier. Sprinkling in a spice from his world that WILL FOREVER REMAIN A MYSTERY.]
