You know, Senri wasn't tangled up that much to begin with, having his introduction into the world of Luceti more like a harmless little prank more then anything else. But somewhere between the flailing around trying to get free and not even knowing what he was entangled in to begin with well... that caused him to become even more stuck.

How he managed to get his leg tied up, his arms tied, up, and now hanging upside down in an inexplicably bizarre position was a pure mystery. Now all he could really do was helplessly stare at the snowflakes landing on his things laying on the ground as the swing oh so gently swung him back and forth after his struggle.

((OOC: if you are worried about timelines breaking if everyone rushes to save him then no need to fear! If you want to tag him after he's saved by some valiant hero he has the tendency to wander around every time something he's interested in catches his eye. So it would be easy to catch him in the forest, flower shop, the bakery, or even just wandering around the town like the hopelessly lost kid that he is. Also feel free to tag this in prose or action spam, since this was only written in prose because I thought it would be boring to have the entire thing in brackets.))

[He doesn't know what a Julpi is, but that's okay because he only really only partially payed attention to what was being said while he checks to make sure all of his stuff is actually there. Which it's not. Because ~~I just reread the FAQ and realized they only land in with their clothes~~ his little bag was just a bag of clothes.

Hopefully James is ready for that sudden and very panicked look on Senri's face as he digs around in the snow some because that journal they gave him was definitely not the right book.]

James blinks as Senri starts to freak out and panic looking around in the snow.]

[See? He knows how to speak. Too bad he's too busy freaking out over his missing book to really calm down and elaborate on that.]

[Low and behold he does speak. James blinks. Then realizes what's going on. He can't mean the journal, so a book he had with him.]

Ah. A book? I think I know where it is then.

[And now he'll stop digging around in snow and give him with a look that this book is something he is very desperate to find.]

[James can't say no to kids. Ever.]

Come with me. It's probably at the Item shop.

[James holds his hand out to Senri to help him up.]

It's not far.

[And he will get up, and follow if James leads the way. But if the tension in him would indicate anything it would be that this is a matter of dire proportions to him. Better walk fast, even if Senri would preferably sprint to this item shop right now.]

[Senri impatience is both slightly amusing to James, and makes him wonder about the book. But he dutifully leads the way at a quick pace. Probably not fast enough for Senri, but hey. James is old(ish) and ice might be hiding under the snow.

Finally they Arrive at the item shop by the bridge. James led the way inside.]

It'll be here if it's anywhere. Look carefully okay? No one is going to walk off with it, so respect other people items.

[and you know despite that disclaimer, he's still very frantic if not reckless in his search. Sorry, that comes with the territory of looking for what is basically the equivalent of an external memory drive.]

[Annnnd the kid didn't listen. It wasn't wholesale destruction, but the kid was really messing things up. James strides over and grabs Senri's shoulders.]

Hey! Cool. It. Let me help, and stop throwing things around. Your going to hit me with something, or break someone else precious thing. Okay? It's a book right? Anything else you can tell me?

[and he stops and looks... well... sorta like you just scolded a puppy for peeing on the rug instead of scolding a teenager for throwing things around. A mixture of embarrassment and being apologetic about it.]

[Augh. Those eyes. James firm pushed the guilty feeling out of the way. Though the kid must be about Thomas age, or older, he acted much younger. It was a bit disquieting, but James moved on from that. He sighed and then patted Senri's head out of sheer paternal instinct.]

I spotted some books over here. Come see if it's one of them alright?

[James motions to a table that is on Senri's blind side. There was a small selection of book piled there.]

[Well, the pat on the head stopped him from looking pathetic like that before looking through that pile of books thoroughly. Until, finally Senri seems to have stumbled across his.

It was an old looking leather bound book, but boy does he really seem happy to have it back. Smiling as he opened up the pages which were written in some foreign language. Not that it mattered anyways, since he was illiterate. The only thing he really seemed interested in was looking at the pressed flowers (and a crow feather) inside.]

[James can't help but smile at the kids happy reaction to finding his book.

Of course he is a nosy person, so he can't help but look over Senri's shoulder to see what's in the book. The text in confusing and unreadable, but the pressed flowers were interesting.]

What are those flowers for kid?

[And, rather then saying that's how he keeps his memories, he'll pull out that crow feather.]

Cooro.

[... is the name of one of his friends. Saying the name plainly as if he were reciting a fact. Sorry he has to be confusing if not a little cryptic about this.]

[Well that told James absolutely nothing. So, the kid appears to be about 15-16, but acts a lot younger. Okay, James could handle this.]

Who is Cooro? A friend? Family?

[Not telling people anything is just a part of who he is, but at least the final question is the one he will always answer.]

[Now James remember telling Senri his name, but wonders if he remember it, since it was right before the kids freak out. Oh well, best to repeat it anyways.]

[He does remember it... for now, but repetition is always a nice thing for Senri. Especially now that he was done with the critical mission of getting his book back and he has more time to well... drift off.

Because rather then be terrified at the fact that he was no in a place that he doesn't know, without his friends, and with funny wings on his back, he just... shuts himself off mentally and emotionally.

Which is why he doesn't really respond much to that. ]

[This kid... James sighs.]

You're lucky you remind me of Thomas.

[That would normally be a mumble, but since Senri doesn't react to much, James voice isn't quite at mumble level.]

You need anything else?

[Good question. At least it starts him thinking again about what else he could be missing. He'll look around the room and... notice his little pouch hanging on a rack. He's going to check and see if he has any candy in there. :Dc ]

[James just watches Senri, both parts amused and exasperated by the kid.]

I take it that's yours too.
