2nd Flower |☼| ACTION

For anyone who would visit the flower shop today, there was a very special visitor. It's a little hard to believe it would have taken him so long to find the place, but now that he's discovered it, he really doesn't want to leave.

... this is quite literal by and by, he is going to make it a point to stay at the shop all day, right up until he has to be kicked out at closing.

However for most of the day he will be admiring the flowers with a certain amount of tenderness that can only come from having flowers be one of his most favorite things in the entire world. This is especially so for the smaller blossoms. Not that he ever learned how to take care of them, he's perfectly content to be in their presence.

Of course if your character isn't florally inclined Senri will also be spending time at the mural, and at some point he'll have to eat something. Most likely at the bakery (or more recently he might stop by 7th heaven, considering he remembers that nice mr.Sanji who gave him some food ...and he requires actual nourishment.)

Well, we have lots here! Do you have a favorite?

[For that he'll have to reach into his book, turning to the first page to a flower that had long been pressed and dried in him book. Unfortunately, the crystala flower was a species native only to his world.]

[Luckily, this is Luceti and has flowers from all different worlds, maybe they'll find it!]

Hmm, it's a pretty flower, but I'm not sure if we have the exact one. We'll have to check! I think if we had one it'd be over here! [Vash leads the way towards a flower he remembers seeing that looked similar to that one.

But IS IT!?]

[It's certainly close, the number of petals and their shape were identical, however the colors were more muted and there was no "ring". Perhaps it was a more common subspecies, after all the crystala flower was one of the symbols for royalty, so it may be more difficult to come by. Glancing back and forth between them.]

[There was.... almost a bit of disappointment? However it was brief. They were after all, still very lovely even if they weren't his. Or more accurately her's.

Yeah, that's right: his favorite flower is also the favorite flower of his surrogate mommy who he hasn't seen in forever. Oh, except his isn't actually dead. DEAL WITH IT.]

Oh? It's not? [Vash takes another look at the plant in the book.] No, you're right, it's not. Well, we're always getting in new plants for different worlds. You should keep checking back. Maybe it will show up one day.

[You know it's funny how quickly he rebounded from that disappointment. But oh he will keep checking up on this shop. Every day. YOU WILL NEVER BE RID OF HIM.

However now his attention is wandering again towards the other flowers in the shop. Like those red flowers over there that are oddly enough the exact same shade of red as Vash's coat. Yes, this observation is more then enough to capture his attention.

...PS: it's not his fault bandits came back to avenge the comrade he killed while he and the caravan were off in another country where they had limited time to stay by dragging him by a noose around the neck until the horse tripped and fell off a cliff.]

[Ah, one of Vash's personal favorites.] Do you like geraniums too?

[PSS: I somehow think it is his fault.]

[He can nod yes to that, because he really does at least like them. If only because he loves all flowers, even if tiny ones are his favorites. And well.... the geranium plant isn't tiny, but it's flowers are. So it's probably up there on the list of flowers he likes.

PPPS: okay so yeah he did kill at least one of the bandits which made them want revenge in the first place but he was a bitty child and they were threatening to kill him and hist friends! So he sorta got possessed by a psychotic bear ghost. And maybe he should have listened to his friends yelling at him to not go outside when the bandits called out for him but he's just a nice guy like that!]

Did you know, that in the language of the flowers it means determination?

[...color as the coat. Sorry he doesn't finish his sentences a lot. To be honest it's just an observation about color instead of some ~deep metaphorical meaning~ about how Vash is the same as the flower. Or... something similar to that if someone was to over think that statement.

[Vash laughs and rubs at the back of his head.] Hah, yeah, actually this is my favorite color. I like what it's red petals stand for.

[PSSS: I still blame Senri because I can.]

[This is an acceptable response. However now he's approaching the geranium and reaching to... steal one of those tiny red blossoms. He needs it for his book, even though Vash doesn't exactly know this yet.]

It's alright. It's just that if you pick it, it will die, then it can never grow up. You'll never know just how beautiful a flower could become if you pick it.

[He get's it, he really does. He sacrificed remembering a village that took care of him and he protected so their flower field would grow back. Not that he remembers any of this, naturally. However the sentiment hasn't changed. Taking out his book, flipping through until there's a blank page, Vash might notice that it's filled with pressed flowers as he flips through. Looking back and forth at the geranium and the page.]

[Pointing to one of the blossoms that was looking a little past it's prime. He promises not to kill the poor plant he just wants to remember his new friend.]

[Vash thinks on that. Taking that bud wasn't going to kill the flower and that bud would be dead in a matter of days. He hesitates, still not liking the idea of condoning this, but you did ask so nicely. The flower would also in a way live forever pressed in the book.]

I suppose that one bud will be alright.

[Don't worry, he's gentle enough to pick it without disturbing the other buds. And this makes him absolutely ecstatic as he promptly shuts the book.]

[Is going to be Vash's new name until he's corrected otherwise.]

Heh, sure you don't need to write that down anywhere?

[Shaking his head no. This flower was more then enough to remember (and even if it wasn't he doesn't know how to read or write.)]

Alright then. Do you have any other flowers you want to see? Or would you like to help water them?

[While seeing more flowers would be wonderful, the prospect of learning how to water flowers makes his eyes light up. He's never taken care of flowers before, but would love to learn how. Though, if Vash wants him to verbally answer one way or the other he'll need to prod him a little more to get an answer.]
